bring this document to your New Member
Briefing and present it to your New Member
Briefer.
Aircraft Checkout
Documents
Before acting as Pilot-in-Command of a
Golden Wings aircraft, you must fill out
the approprate Aircraft Checkout Form,
take the accompanying quiz and perform
an aircraft checkout in the aircraft
with an Approved Golden Wings Flight
Instructor.
General Aircraft Checkout
This checkout form covers all standard
aircraft exluding
retractable aircraft, aircraft with more
than 200 horsepower, and twin engine
aircraft. To obtain a checkout, fill out
this form / quiz, then take it to an
Approved Golden Wings Flight Instructor
to get checked out in that aircraft.
Complex Aircraft
This checkout form covers all aircraft
with retractable gear, flaps, and a
controllable pitch propeller, excluding
high-performance and twin-engine
aircraft. To obtain a checkout, fill out
this form, take the accompanying quiz,
then take it to an Approved Golden Wings
Flight Instructor to get checked out in
that aircraft.
High Performance
This
checkout form covers all aircraft
with more than 200 horsepower, excluding
complex aircraft and twin-engine
aircraft. To obtain a checkout,
fill out this form / quiz, then
take it to an Approved Golden Wings
Flight Instructor to get checked
out in that aircraft.
This
document highlights the minimum
requirements in order to provide
flight instruction in Golden Wings
aircraft. All CFI's providing
flight instruction must be be
approved prior to accepting students.
